Shortly after getting our positive pregnancy test, I succumbed to the first trimester nausea and exhaustion. I could hardly bring myself to cook let alone meal plan or grocery shop smartly. Now that I am into my second trimester and our focus has become saving for the bean, I am committed to shopping more frugally while enjoying the delicious flavors of the season. This week's menu is a wing-it one, and I am using as much from our pantry as possible. We just returned from Myrtle Beach and payday is not until Friday, so we are making due!
